May 2007 - Ailsa's Second Birthday

The best present - a big box.....and more puzzles.....
	I made this card for Ailsa's birthday and sent it into the Cbeebies channel several weeks early. Cbeebies is the commercial free BBC channel aimed at very young children. I did a background from In the Night Garden (from the makers of Teletubbies) and 2 foxes from Pablo the Little Red Fox. She was in a big Pablo phase a few weeks ago (calling it 'box')..and she's now in a Thomas the Tank Engine and Maisy Mouse phase.
They did show the card on TV during their Birthday Time (the presenter's name on her birthday is Chris...is it sad that I know that?). Anyway, the Cbeebies website only listed the times that they did birthday cards on weekdays, so I was fearful that I might have missed it if it had been on the early am slot. As a bonus, I used the top of the carboard box used to pack the care package that Jeff and Loren sent to strengthen the big flimsy card, and so Ailsa's card put to the side and still visible for the second half of the birthday card time. I sent a few e-mails and they still haven't updated their site to reflect the different birthday card times on weekends (hmmm..)...
