January 2007 - Eckerd College: St. Petersburg, Florida

We were only there for a short time (yes, Paul did another conference call while there)...but at least Paul got to see a bit of the campus, and I got to see how it has changed (new library, new dorms, etc). It just didn't look right! I finally got around to getting an Eckerd College sweatshirt (so I might stop wearing all of Paul's). They changed the logo a few years ago as well - is nothing sacred.

I have found some old photos from when I was at Eckerd, so thought, what the heck, I think I'll do a page of them on this site. Hopefully no one is running for public office. I'll see what I can get from my friends as well (since I only have a few).

When active it will also be linked from here: [Eckerd 1989 - 1993] I still need to go through some boxes and find some photos to scan in (and will see what some friends send me).

I lived in the Delta complex my freshman year (Ibsen house).
....and then moved to Kappa complex (Leighton house) my Sophomore year. It was a pet dorm, so I got to have my dog with me for a while.

Boy, do I look pregnant in that shot....

Look - my old room!

About the size of one of the London flats that I shared just after I moved to London in late 1999.

The bar-b-que and picnic table at Kappa
On the right was the 'study area' for Kappa, which appears to now be pool tables...I guess they don't need to have a place to study anymore?
My favourite storm sewer cover...Didn't know I had a favourite, did you?

Hint - read the name of the town at the top....
