February 2007 - Late Feb Photos

A few shots from the second half of February:

Ailsa had a blood sample taken as part of some allergy testing in mid-February. I thought she'd gone a bit red after having a tiny bit of macadamia nut (not sure if it could have been something else...the macadamia seemed the most likely). They had to put some cream on to numb her skin, so she got to play for about 45 minutes while it took effect. It took about 3 tries to get the sample (we got an ER doc to do it after the first doctor had problems), but she only 'fussed' about once - and I think that was more about the nurse restraining her arm.
Every now and then the 'energizer bunny' takes a break:
Julie F. stopped by after spending a week or so working in the Hague. Pizza and scrabble seemed the best way to spend the evening. I think we kept Paul up longer than intended (he had to look good on telly in Frankfurt the next day)....
A well spaced out board....much better than getting stuck with everything bunched up in one area.
Ailsa checks out the dictionary and then moves on to crayons with Julie
Tracing her hand:

Ailsa also got to spend an day with Alex, who is about 3 months older than her - he has such expressive eyes.
