Horrible Science / Mid September
Update
We went to a book signing at Kew Gardens with the author and illustrator of the Horrible Science books. They were doing some demonstrations that day - sadly for kids over 6 years old. At least we got a bit of Christmas shopping done (don't tell Tyler and Dillon).

I don't think Oktoberfest has started yet (darn it)...but at least he remembered to take his swimming trunks this time (his hotel has a pool). His German is getting pretty good. He did an intensive 1 week course earlier this Summer...but some of his e-mails do get circulated around the German office for his, um, innovative approach to the language (see other German language mistakes)

I'm currently feeling like a very good wife. I not only happened upon and recorded a 30 minute interview with Joseph Stiglitz (Chief Economist of the World Bank 1996-1997) on the BBC World Service, I also got a 30 minute interview with the ENRON whistleblower from BBC Radio 4 the other day [Audio available for a little while].
Other BBC Radio 4 picks: New Audio usually
available for a week after broadcast
