December 2006 - Christmas in Leicestershire

We only went up to Leicestershire for a few days, but were able to pack a lot in. A trip to Oakham to do a bit of shopping. David and Jackie Pratt came over with Jo and Phil for a visit. Jo and Phil have moved a short drive away from us in London, so we'll hopefully be having them over soon. Kathryn came over with the girls - Ailsa loved following older Isabelle around when they first arrived.

For Christmas I couldn't resist getting Paul and John some big Hawaiian shirts. Perhaps I should have gotten Bob in Hawaii to send us some 'official' ones.

A Bit of shopping in Oakham

Kathryn stopped by with Isabelle and Jessica (Ailsa and Jessica were born within a few weeks of each other)
Unwrapping her first baby doll. I hadn't gotten her one, but she took an interest in one at a playgroup....and with the little on on the way....
Not sure what is distracting her here
A real 'surprise' for Paul. I used some very very very good friends to get some RCA Secret cards. As a fundraiser for the Royal College of Art, they sell postcards by famous people and current students - all for 35 pounds each. You don't know who's done your card till after you've bought it. I usually camp out (when not pregnant) or go very very early. Paul was also surprised when I opened my present to myself from him to get a RCA card by Julian MacDonald (heh heh heh).
A mug each for John and Mary (we have a collection of these mugs at home - great for remembering whose mug is whose during re-fills.
I'll get Paul to eventually play Canasta one way or another....
Sleepy bunny
A Christmas Fairy
Paul reading Niall Ferguson while wearing Ailsa's Bob the Builder hat
A trip to the stables....We got some good shots of her LOVING being on a red tractor (a real one) Even tried to work the gear stick....I'll try to get those online as well.

I think she loved the tractor more than the horses

Why isn't it moving?
